Esko Girls Repeat as State True Team Champions
May 19, 2012 Dwight Cadwell-NSO The Esko girls Track & Field team repeated as Class A True Team Champions Saturday at the Minnesota State True Team Championships in Stillwater, MN. Esko beat out Blue Earth with 365.5 points to Blue Earth's 426. The Esko boys also finished a very respectable fourth. Read more
Esko Notches Win Over Carlton In Softball
May 16, 2012 The neighborhood softball rivalry was renewed on Wednesday afternoon in Esko when the Eskomos hosted a strong Carlton Bulldogs team. The Eskomos rode the strong pitching of Abbey Saralampi to a 7-4 victory and bragging rights for the time being. Read more

Esko Boys And Girls Sweep Section 7A True Team Meet
May 9, 2012 It was a complete sweep for the Esko boys and girls track and field teams at the Section 7A True Team meet, which was held in Pierz on Tuesday. The boys scored 347 pints to second place Pillager’s 303 while the girls completely dominated the competition. Read more

Apr 23, 2012 Kelly Carlson delivered a booming double at Braun Park on Monday night for the Cloquet girls softball team when they needed it most against next door neighbor Esko. With the Eskomos leading 2-0, and the Jacks struggling to find some offense, Carlson ripped a bases loaded double in the bottom of the fourth inning to score three runs and sending the Jacks on to a 5-3 victory over the Eskomos. May 6, 2012 The Esko Eskomos went 2-1 this weekend in the Hinckley-Finlayson baseball tournament in Hinckley to capture third place for the weekend. The Eskomos defeated Hinckley-Finlayson on Friday night, on Saturday the Eskomos lost to the Aitkin Gobblers before rebounding and knocking off Crosby-Ironton and take third place overall. Read more

Cloquet-Esko and Hermantown Compete In Grand Rapids Invite
Apr 28, 2012 The Cloquet-Esko Lumberjacks and the Hermantown Hawks boys golf teams both competed in the Grand Slam Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Grand Rapids and in Coleraine on Saturday. The meet win went to the host Grand Rapids Thunderhawks and it was Thunderhawks Alec Odegaard who was the medalist with a 148, two shots better the Brent Musich of International Falls. Read more

April 26, 2012 The complete results are in for the 2012 Hawk Invite held at Hermantown High School on Thursday. The Host Hermantown boys team won with a team score of 173 points. Esko continued their dominance on the girls side, winning the event with 186 total team points.
ML-WR Boys & Esko Girls Win Two Harbors Invite
Apr 26, 2012 The Moose Lake-Willow River Boys and Esko girls track teams captured first place in their respective divisions at the Two Harbors Invitational in Two Harbors Tuesday. The Rebels captured the title with a fairly wide margin of almost 50 points while the Eskomos edged out the Two Harbors Agates girls track team by on seven points. Read more
Kuhlman, Michaud, And Pionk Shine In Hockey's Final 54
Apr 23, 2012 Last week Karson Kuhlman, Westin Michaud, and Neal Pionk were selected from a group of 640 hockey players to participate in the Reebok High Performance U17 hockey showcase final 54 in Plymouth MN from April 21-22. The three showed all in attendance it was no fluke they were chosen as part of the final 54 players with all three finding their way into the scorebooks. Read more |
