Feb 2 CLOQUET - Wednesday was National Letter of Intent signing day for colleges across the United States. In a conference room at Cloquet High School two Lumberjack athletes signed to ply their wares in college. Esko-Carlton Comes Up Just Short In Section Finals
Oct 21 DULUTH - Rachel Diers and Cassandra Trandahl scored just 7 and 15 minutes into the Section 7a section finals for Chisago Lakes to put Esko-Carlton into a hole that proved a bit too much to dig out of. Esko-Carlton and Hermantown Advance in Girls Soccer
Oct 17 Esko-Carlton and Hermantown have both advanced to the Section 7A semifinals in girls soccer and will square off against each other on Tuesday afternoon in Esko. The Eskomos defeated Hibbing 4-0 on Saturday, while the Hawks bounced Proctor from the tournament with a 2-0 win. Read more

Apr 18 Yellowjacket women's soccer coach Melissa Nelmark has announced that Syna Graber, a transfer from Lake Superior College has committed to play soccer for the Yellowjackets beginning in the fall of 2011. They were hoping to do the same to Cloquet in Cloquet on Saturday, but the Lumberjacks made sure there would be no repeat as they won 4-1 to advance to the sectional semifinals on Tuesday at Chisago Lakes. Oct 13 The girls sectional soccer playoffs begin this week. In Section 7A the defending champion, Cloquet, will get the #4 seed and host the #13 seed, Becker, on Thursday at 5pm at Rol Bromberg Field.
